Six weeks a year we hand Friargate back to
the Alps. In 2026 the huts go up again, the lights go
back on, and Home Alone plays over the bar until December runs out.
The 2026Season
The Winter Lodge is back from 14 November 2026. The same wooden huts, the same canopy of ten thousand lights, and the same mug of something warm on Friargate.

The window stools are first come, first servedWhat's Coming Back
Nothing about the Lodge changes much, and that is rather the point. The huts come back out of storage, the garlands go up, the blankets get washed, and the mulled wine goes on.
Table bookings for the 2026 season are open and free to reserve, same as always. Walk-ins are welcome whenever there's a hut or a window stool free.
